Anula Jochym

Anula Jochym is a BCAB Sea Kayak Coach, Advance Sea Kayak Leader and Provider that works full time in the Adventure Guiding industry. Her home base is Iceland where she spends her summers guiding and coaching to then do more of it in the Southern Hemisphere while working on expedition boats. She has guided and coached at various locations around the globe including Iceland, Poland, Great Britain, Ireland, US, Mexico, Faroe Islands, Greenland, the Subantarctic and the Antarctic. Anula has a soft spot for Risk and Incident Management in Paddlesports as well as Paddlesport Coaching. Aligning with her university degree in Theory of Education she loves coaching passionate kayakers as well as future guides. Her paddling adventure started at just 6 years old, when her dad decided to put her in a kayak and send her down the river. Since then she has transitioned to sea kayaking where she found an appetite for self supported expeditions as well as good old park and play.
Treating sea kayaking as her vocation as well as her passion, being out at sea drives her to be a better paddler, guide, coach and a person, tuned in with the surrounding environment.
